Why some science articles are incomprehensible

About 70 percent of Americans cannot understand certain kinds of articles published in the New York Times Science Section. Readers usually understand stories supported by visible, local evidence. For example, Grand Banks cod fish are fewer and smaller than fifty years ago. However, scientific stores about beginnings are unlike the common sense world of experience. It is not the sentence structure or vocabulary that makes these articles incomprehensible, since they are written for high-school level readers. It is the bizarre and surreal nature of the stories that makes them obscure. No one has ever seen any evidence for spontaneous generation of life or a universe that formed itself from a vacuum.

It is not easy to understand how or why a tiny bit of vacuum exploded and created everything out of nothing. It is utterly absurd to postulate a universe that is 99% invisible, filled with invisible matter and numerous vacuous processes. Scientists explain that the universe is wildly expanding because an expanding vacuum fills the whole universe. Allegedly this expanding vacuum is increasing the distance between galaxies, even while they are standing still. Try real hard to visualize that! Supposedly all light passing through the void has its frequencies adjusted, the more vacuums it passes through, the more the light is stretched. No one has ever detected vacuums changing light frequencies, propelling objects or becoming more energetic by pulling more "energy" out of the vacuum. When they propose that this magical universe organizes itself into complex reproducing life - it exceeds credibility. These ad-hoc stories are not only absurd, they are a sure sign that something fundamental is amiss.

The reason scientists contrive incomprehensible myths is because they have a dogma. What is the scientific dogma? The Bible predicted that in the last days false teachers will come saying "panta outos diamenei" all things remain the same in being. The next verse explains how these false teachers will obfuscate (Greek lanthano) the starry heavens "ouranoi esan ekpalai." This idea, that the properties of matter are fixed, was invented by a pagan Greek. The idea did not become dogma during the classical age. It took the writings from friar Aquinas to convince the popes to authorize Aristotle metaphysics in Western universities. Over the centuries, scientists invented operationally defined symbols, measuring units and mathematical 'constants', all of which presuppose that the properties of matter are fixed. Their system self-authenticates locally. However, their laws do not work in the distant universe, which is why they must mythologize.

Biblical physics is so simple that a child can understand it since it uses no mathematical symbols or precision measuring units. Biblical physics has only one law: the creation was long ago subjected to phthora. The Greek philosophers used the word phthora for when things that 'are' change their properties so that they 'are not' - due to matter itself is changing. The Bible uses present, active, indicative verbs to describe these together-processes. The together Greek words suggest relational changes, since relational change is when things change in parallel. The present tense in Greek is durative, continuous present processes. Biblical physics simply accepts that matter always changes relationally. Relational changes cannot be precisely measured since when matter changes, the measuring units and the mathematics track with the changing substance. Yet relational changes are visible.

We can see the past, by observing the light that left primordial galaxies eons ago. We see with sight that all atomic clocks accelerate throughout cosmic history. How can we be sure vacuums did not change the light frequencies? We can see the history of galaxies, how they formed. Primordial galaxies were naked, tiny and packed with stars, like beans in a bag. Then at closer ranges we observe smaller discrete bean bags coming out of the cores of countless galaxies. The little bean bags have equal spacing, like beads on a necklace. Then we observe at many closer ranges how these bean bags spread out as they kept accelerating out. Eventually the arms of galaxies became continuous flows of gas and stars (the beans) spreading out, stretching out, growing into huge growth spirals. We see that the atomic clocks and the star orbits keep on accelerating together as the galaxies grew. This could only happen if the properties of matter always change relationally.

The visible universe fits the Hebrew descriptive nouns and verbs that explain the forming of the heavens and its history. What is visible is the opposite of the scientific stories about accretion out of dust. The visible universe denies the scientific laws of physics, their measuring units and their mathematical symbols. Scientists are building huge new telescopes to clearly observe the formation of galaxies. Will they continue to obfuscate the visible history of the universe with absurd stories about invisible things and vacuous processes? If they continue to multiply more invisible myths, it will be a sure sign of intellectually dishonesty. Much is at stake here. If matter is changing relationally, the entire structure of scientism will go down in history as the blindest, most dogmatic system of reasoning and measuring ever invented by the mind of men.

The Bible predicts that God will make foolish the wisdom of this age, that he is taking them with their own skills. Check to see if you have a hook in your mouth. If you never question that atoms are unchanging, perpetual-motion machines, you will lose your war with God. His foolishness (His little riddle) is wiser than man's wisdom. He is about to do what he promised, bring down the pride of man, their great science. That will bring Him great glory because you can only come to him by child-like faith, not through wisdom. Trust Jesus and you will never be ashamed. Trust science, the system built on a carefully protected dogma, and you will find that He can make your great wisdom into folly. Think about it.
