Do Scientists Really try and Falsify their Theories?

Einstein famously stated, "as far as propositions refer to reality, they are not certain; as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality." A hypothesis is said to be scientific if it is potentially falsifiable. Scientific hypotheses are usually presented in mathematical language, which other scientists examine for errors. If (1) they find no errors; (2) if they can duplicate the results; and (3) if it fits within the structure of other theories, the hypothesis may become a working theory. Scientists claim that since they attempt to falsify every theory, their mathematical stories are the closest thing we have to the truth.

Yet the entire structure of scientific laws and theories depends on a creedal certainty, a historical, elementary assumption first proposed by a pagan Greek. This assumption is so rudimentary and so firmly accepted that every scientist assumes it as self-evident. The Bible even predicted it. The Apostle Peter warned: know this first that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking. They will ignore the evidence from the history of the heavens (ouranoi) and the watery history of earth (ge) because of an idea - panta outos diamenei - all things remain the same.

This idea is so firmly accepted that any theory that conflicts with it is rejected no matter how much visible evidence supports it. Why? Because the empirical system requires that matter cannot intrinsically change itself. For example, most scientific measuring units, such as meters, velocities and accelerations, depend on the notion of an independent linear time. Time is never a separate dimension of our experience. We always experience durations in the whole context of changing reality. We can test ideas about linear time simply. Not a single one of the hundreds of billions of ancient galaxies shines with the frequencies of local (present day) atomic oscillators. Even when we send our own calibrated clocks to the outer regions of the solar system, the more from the past they emitted their signals, the more those clocks change speed in the same direction as the distant atomic oscillators. Nature continually shouts, everything is changing, yet all scientists must accept the assumption that atoms are immutable and dither with perpetual motion. They must hold this assumption as sacred because even their definitions, measuring units and methods depend on this one dogmatic assumption.

Perhaps this is why scientific versions of earth history violate the genealogies and records from the earliest societies. Perhaps this is why scientific theories about the history of the universe are so absurd. Allegedly the universe is 99% invisible, populated with space-time and invisible matter, things that no scientist has ever detected in any lab or with any instrument in any part of the spectrum. Supposedly far more invisible matter resides in invisible halos around every galaxy - than natural substances. Scientists believe that the vacuum of space-time is adjusting the frequencies of all ancient light clocks and pushing galaxies to almost the speed of light. They propose these preposterous theories to force the universe to fit the creed of all scientists - that the properties of matter are fixed, not emerging.

Biblical physics is the ultimate cut from Occam's razor. The Bible simply states that the creation is enslaved to change (phthora). Every atom in the universe is visibly following biblical physics, changing relationally. The most powerful evidence for biblical physics is how the galaxies formed. Galaxies visibly began as tiny naked globs. The stars spread out, accelerated out, took up more space as billions of galaxies grew into huge growth spirals. Especially in spiral galaxies, we observe that atomic clocks and orbital star streams keep on accelerating together throughout the continuum of galactic history. Visible galactic history fits the statements in the Bible about how God formed the stars in the shamayim raqiya - the spreading place in the heavens.

How could the vast antiquity of galactic history fit the biblical record of only 6,000 years? We see how orbits, star streams, in countless galaxies accelerated along with the accelerating atomic clocks. Astronomers, over the centuries, continued to measure a decreasing solar parallax. Apparently the solar system was also expanding. (Angles are the only precision measurements that do not depend on the assumption that matter is not changing itself). Wait, says the scientist, if our orbit were changing, the number of days in a year would have to change. Read an essay on why, if gravity has a finite speed, it MUST ACCELERATE earth's orbit and rotation together.

Biblical physics can explain cosmic history and earth history in ways that scientists cannot allow. The Hebrew Bible says the earth spreads out in unbroken continuity. The continents only fit together on a tiny planet without major seas. A volcanic expansion keeps on forming new basaltic earth crust in every ocean. The new crust covers two thirds of the earth's surface. The theory of subduction is visibly contradicted by the layered, undisturbed sediments in the "subduction trenches." Evidently the primordial earth was a tiny globe.

How could the few biblical patriarchs span the vast eons of galactic history? Job lived long after creation, although still in the dinosaur age. He lists the geological markers for the length of a human life, including the fact that the sea (west - the Mediterranean) dried up. The evidence from Mediterranean bottom cores confirms his words. The sea did dry up to a salty dessert. Job wrote that their faces doubled, changed, before they died. Our face is the only part of our skeleton that keeps slowly growing as we age. If we lived for geological ages, our faces would grow Neanderthal. The fact that the child skulls from Neanderthal sites do not have extended brows, is simple evidence that they did live for geological ages.

The God of the Bible promises that at some point He will make foolish, He will falsify, the wisdom of this age. He seems to be on track to doing so soon. We are spending tens of billions on new telescopes. No telescope has yet detected any evidence for immutable matter. What the telescopes have imaged so far, fits biblical cosmic history, how the galaxies spread out and grew. Yet scientists propose undetectable things to protect the dogmatic principle upon which science was built. How great will be the fall of western science before the immense power of God's word.
